Interim Policies The Girl Scouts of North East Ohio Board of Directors recently approved Interim Operational Volunteer Policies and Interim Financial Policies for Volunteers and Girl Members. These policies will remain in effect through December, 2008. Members are being asked to review each of these policies and provide feedback. The Board will approve final policies in December. Missed the 2008 GSNEO General Assembly? Get your information here! Girl Scouts of North East Ohio (GSNEO) held our first General Assembly council meeting on April 19th. Over 130 members including Regional Delegates, the Board of Directors, and the Board Development Committee came together to elect our National Delegates and witness the unveiling of the GSNEO Strategic Plan. Many comments and ideas were shared by those in attendance. It was truly an exciting meeting and another chapter in the evolving story of our new council. 2008 National Convention We need your input! In six short months, our National Delegates will travel to Indianapolis for the 2008 National Convention. Charged with representing the best interests of our council and the Girl Scout Movement, they will participate in direct conversation and important action that will write the next chapter in Girl Scouting. The GSUSA National Board of Directors has released six policy proposals to be considered at the convention. Please review these proposals carefully and consider the potential impact each will have on a regional and national level.
